Privacy Policy
Effective: 1 January 2026
This policy covers this website only — www.circle2learn.com. It explains what we collect when you visit or contact us.
It does not cover student data. Student information processed by the Circle2Learn application is governed by the written agreement between Circle2Learn and your school district, and by the security and data-protection documentation we provide to districts on request. No student data is collected through this website.
What we collect
Only what you give us, and basic analytics.
- When you complete a form. Your name, email address, phone number (if provided), organisation or district, job role, and anything you write in the message field. Our demo form also asks for approximate student numbers and your current student information system.
- When you browse. Standard analytics — pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, browser and device type, and how you arrived. We use Google Analytics for this.
We do not ask for, and have no reason to collect, sensitive personal information.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry or arrange a demonstration
- To send information you have asked for
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Who else sees it
A small number of service providers, each acting on our instructions:
- Formspree — delivers our contact and demo form submissions to us
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement
- Pexels — some blog images load from Pexels, so your IP address is visible to them when those images load
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to measure site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on (opens in a new tab). The site works normally without them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and demo requests are kept for 24 months so we can follow up and maintain a record of our correspondence. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
How we protect it
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct it if it is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop contacting you
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you these rights in law, along with the right to know what we collect and disclose, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
To make a request, email info@circle2learn.com. We will respond within 45 days and may need to verify your identity first.
Children
This website is intended for school and district staff. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
